Mr. Mark Ayen, age 27, is the holder of Bachelors of Science, International Relations (Special). He is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate in Executive Events Management.

He also holds certificates in Project Management and also in multiple law enforcement and security areas.

A cultural ambassador at heart, Mr. Ayen, is the founder and director of Dirty Medics Carnival Limited (DMCL).  DMCL is the parent company of Unleash Mas Band, DMC Kids Mas Band and Dirty Medics J’ouvert.

A qualified Event’s Manager, Bandleader and Carnival Administrator, Mr. Ayen is currently a leading hybrid event specialist and is proud to serve as a Director of Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Bands Association, having been elected in November 2020.

A past multiple-time Junior King of Carnival, administrator of the “Education Through Culture Children’s Workshop” and the “Design me TnT” challenge. He is a world carnival traveller and administrator, with a  deep love for cultural preservation and carnival administration and believes in the development and enhancement of culture to meet contemporary needs and wants of the present economy and stakeholders.

Mr. Ayen believes that our culture is embedded in us, and is a representation of the people.  Let us preserve and foster its growth and sustainably.
