The Board of Directors is collectively responsible for promoting the success of TTCBA by leading and directing the TTCBA’s activities. It provides strategic guidance to the organization and monitors the activities and effectiveness of management. Board members should act on a fully informed basis, in good faith, with due diligence and care and in the best interest of the TTCBA subject to the mandate set by the NCC.

The Board represents the interest of the stakeholders, and is accountable for the quality of the product or service supplied by the TTCBA. The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that the TTCBA keeps the promises described in the TTCBA’s mission and core values statements and for assuring that the TTCBA is accountable for acting within the laws governing it operations.

The Board of Directors is also responsible for ensuring the fiscal integrity of the TTCBA’s operations and records, representing the ideas, culture, needs and quality of service to the public it serves and developing policies and procedures that assure that the conduct of the business operations and activities are set against established standards of performance.
